We started in the outdoor seating and it started raining. The servers helped us move inside and brought everything for us. They also said if we were allergic to anything, to let them know and they’d help us figure out what would be best. My friend had a whole list and they were happy to help. The food was excellent and the tiramisu was to die for! We did end up going back again.

--Service-- The staff is very friendly and they have the best sense of humor too. The service was swift and well regarding the food and drinks as well. Our food were brought to us in under 10 minutes and they were prepared very well. --Cost-- Although the atmosphere of the restaurant was very well and the food was delicious, the cost was reasonable and standard. A carbonara was 15€, the vien pizza was 12€ and the prices are around this range if you don't get some pompous stuff like pasta with lobster. --Atmosphere-- Great and looks like an expensive restaurant, yet somehow the prices are good. --Food-- There are various foods with local ingredients. My friend got cuttlefish inked pasta and he said it was different and great. We also got fried calamari for the table and it was delicious as a side dish. The pizza that we ordered was also well done and it was filled generously with ingredients.

Great, friendly service even though we showed up late (around 10pm). Staff gave solid recommendations. The Spaghetti alla Busara with a glass of wine was a typical Venetian classic — simple, delicious, and exactly what we needed. Fritto misto was good, though didn’t quite deliver that full Italian soul I expected (but I could be wrong). For Venice, under €40 per person with wine and dessert feels like a win. Would happily return.

We stumbled upon this restaurant at the end of a small alley, just next to the Rialto, and found a peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely excellent – without a doubt the best meal I had during my entire stay. We ordered seafood spaghetti and a salmon steak, and both were cooked to perfection. Throughout the meal, we were looked after by a very attentive waiter, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I have nothing at all to criticise. They are currently on a well-deserved three-week holiday, and I truly hope to return one day for that amazing steak.

While walking aimlessly in Venice City, we came across Al Gobbo on a side street n decided to dine here. We knocked upon a great restaurant with superb service from Mr Simone. He was helpful in elaborating on the menu that enabled us to the salad with burata cheese, mussels n clams sauteed n a Venetian Pizza, washed down with two beers. Total €70. Great bargain considering that Venice is relatively expensive. Food tasted great n beer was supremely good, chilled n quenched our thirst. If only the pizza crust could be rolled a little thinner, it would better suit our liking. But we r not complaining as it was well cooked n very tasty. Well done Kitchen n Front desk. both of us were very contended with the meal. Thank u for feeding us.
